Job adverts of Windows and developers profiles on LinkedIn so far refer to Windows Blue. Some think that it’s not real name, just a codename. This is not just for this specific Windows but there are other Windows Microsoft is working, including Windows RT, Windows Server phone. This is not first time that Microsoft did this but it happened before in case of Windows phone.
Windows 9 Release Date
Microsoft has not officially release any date but an official statement “you have certainly seen across a variety of our products a cadence that looks like that; Windows Phone is a good for example of that, our services are a good example of that”.
Rumors explicitly say that Windows 9 will launch in summer of this year. It is still unsure that Windows 9 will be available to users as an update or new PC will integrate this update. Moreover, it is still to investigate either its update is available from Windows 7 or just an upgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 9.
Windows 9 Features
Leaked screenshots claimed new Internet explorer 11. However, it took so long to launch Internet explorer 10 for Windows 7, so, it is expected that IE 11 would not have much new features.
Another feature, which discussed, is ability of Charm bar to search apps outside operating system. It is like universal search, which can grab anything from internet.
In the end, it would be too early to say anything about Windows 9 and its features.
