Capture, Edit, and Share your Photos/Videos in Windows Phone 8

Microsoft, with its consortium with certain Mobile manufacturers has introduced Windows RTM for mobile users. Renowned mobile phone brands can be found, having Windows 8 as their OS. It has many features and functions similar to those of Windows 8 desktop versions.

The foremost solution which is always encouraged is checking your PC primary healthiness and restoring any discrepancy that perhaps is bringing about the disturbance:

  • Step 1 : Download Systimizer – PC Cleaner Tool (Compatible with Windows 10, 8, 7 & XP)
  • Step 2 : Click “Scan” to find Windows issues
  • Step 3 : Click “Fix” to eliminate all troubles

If you just have your hands on to a new Windows phone, let us give you some useful propositions to; effectively use its built-in Camera app. See below for the breakdown of instructions.

Capture Photo:

  • Go to the Windows 8 Start screen and tap the Camera tile
  • Press Camera button on the phone to take the shot

Capture Video:

  • Tap Video icon in the sidebar to switch to video
  • Press Camera button on the phone to start recording and press again to stop

Zoom In/Out         

  • Hold the phone steady, vertically or horizontally for Portrait and Landscape view, respectively
  • Pinch inward on the screen for Zoom in, and Stretch outward for Zoom out

Camera Shutter Sound

  • From the App list, go to Settings and then Ringtones + sounds
  • Tap Camera Shutter and turn shutter sound on or off, through a checkbox

Edit a photo

  • From the App list, go to Photos and choose a photo of your desire
  • Tap More and then choose to Edit

Rotate a Photo

  • On Edit screen, tap Rotate (the first icon starting from left)
  • Keep tapping the icon until you get the right side up. Tap Save to store changes

Crop a Photo

  • On Edit Screen, tap Crop (the second icon starting from left)
  • Tap and drag any corner of the rectangle to adjust a photo in it. Tap Save to store changes

Color Fix

  • To adjust the colors of your photo, try tapping the Fix icon
  • If the adjusted photo doesn’t seems right, tap Undo fix to revert back

Share a Photo

  • From the Apps list, access your Photos and choose the one or more you want to share
  • If the photo is in an online album, tap More and Save to phone
  • Tap and hold a photo or video and then tap Share icon
  • In the list of social networks (Facebook, Twitter, MySpace) tap the one you want
  • Tap Upload photo or video icon

Tag a Photo

  • The phone should detect the face and show a box around it asking Who’s this?
  • If it does not, tap Add tag button and choose a facebook contact.

All these features and workarounds add a value to your mobile phone camera. Now you can take amazing photos very easily and collect admirations from people by sharing them.
