- In the list of running processes, identify the one or more processes related to that file or folder
- Click to highlight the concerned processes and then click End Process button
- Click OK to save changes and Exit
- Now try deleting the file again, and you will succeed
Picture Password
Although, Windows 8’s this feature was designed and specialized for finger touch, it is now practiced on desktop computers and laptops. You can click and drag on the set gesture points to unlock the user account. To set up a picture password,
- Press Windows key + C to view Charm bar
- In the Charm bar, click on the Settings icon
- In the Settings charm, click Change PC Settings button, at the bottom
- From there, go to the Users option, and under the Sign-in options, click Create picture password
- Choose a picture and record three gestures that you can remember
- Click OK to save your changes

- Click on the Search icon on the Charm bar to view the Search box

POP Accounts

Use a free web based account to receive POP account’s messages, and then direct Windows 8 Mail to receive these messages from such accounts. To set it up, assuming to use Outlook for this purpose,
- Login to your Outlook email account in a usual way
- Click on the settings button, in the upper right corner of the webpage
- In the settings panel, click Your email accounts, under the Managing your account options
- Scroll down to Add an email account, and click on Add send-and-receive account button
- On the next page, enter your POP account and password, and click Next
- Subsequently, input or verify your POP account settings, and click Next
- You would receive a confirmation email on your POP account. Go to the confirmation link
- You have successfully connected your POP account with the Outlook
- Now go to the Start screen and click the tile referring Mail
- Once open, move the cursor to upper right corner, and click the Settings icon
- In the Settings charm, click on Accounts
- Now click on Add an account, and then Other account
- Click Show details button to expand the window
- Fill in the required fields, and click Connect button to Finish
