Sharing Multimedia Content through Windows 8 Phone Text Messaging

Microsoft with its version of mobile operating system has simplified complex tasks with a help of a few taps. Messaging application in Windows 8 phone not just allows you to share text but a great deal of multimedia content. You can now share photos, videos, sounds and much more, described in this content subsequently.

Share Photo/Video

  • From your App list, tap Messaging tile

  • Go to the message box and type the message. Tap Send icon to complete the process

Share Website

  • From your App list, tap Internet Explorer tile
  • Navigate to the webpage you want to share and tap More icon
  • Tap Share page and choose Messaging from the list
  • A blank text message will open with a link to the website
  • Type the message, recipient info if you want and tap Send icon

Share Sounds

  • From your App list, tap Messaging tile
  • Tap New icon and type recipient’s name and contact details
  • Tap Attach icon, then Voice note and say your message aloud. Then tap Done
  • Or tap Attach icon, then Ringtone to choose one (Only those with small size)
  • Tap the message box, write a message, add recipient’s info and tap Send icon

Share Apps

  • From your App list, tap Store tile
  • Find and tap the app you want to share and then tap Share button
  • If the button does not appear, tap More icon and then choose to Share
  • From the list to share the app with, choose Messaging option
  • A blank message will appear with a link to that specific app
  • Type a message in the message box, add a recipient and tap Send to finish the process

With all this stuff to be shared, you can now use your Messaging app in an optimum way. Microsoft synchronizes its different tools to provide quality and convenience.
